Growing up my parents always did everything themselves including homeschooling us. So I naturally am a diy gal. Also don't be afraid to try and fail that was just a learning curve. Who doesn't love old vintage stuff? I suppose there are a few who do not enjoy shabby vintage junk but I do think the majority of us out there do like it very much! Here is a little story I wrote about myself to describe one of my many influences in life. When I was young there was a magic waterfall in my back yard it was covered in ivy that flowed down the mountain side like Rapunzel's hair. I would convince my friends to climb the ivy and escape into the forest to create make believe cities and towns and we would be the towns people. The waterfall and forest in my back yard had vibrant colors and textures and was my canvas as a child. I now incorporate these memories into my paintings. I am a self taught artist living in Oregon. My work is inspired by people, media and nature and I paint almost continuously! All pieces are designed and created by me with my beloved brushes and paint.
