My name is Violet. I am 23 years old and work at Wiley Book Publishing as a reprint technician. I went to school for Graphic Design, which I am not doing at my current job. I will one day hopefully! :D I am doing freelance work so that keeps my artistic side at ease. I am in love with a guy named Grant. He's an amazing husband and I love him more than life! This blog is pretty much a compilation of my photography business( Violet Short Photography ), it's progress, life, art, work, fashion, and other obsessions! I am insane. I am paranoid. I get happy easily and hate being angry, even though I am half of the time. I wear black nail polish until it completely chips of my nails, then I repaint them. Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda, but I can't have caffeine. My heart goes wild if I do. I love going to the movies even though I can't afford it. My favorite stores are: Target, Forever 21, any antique stores, and anything awesome. Barney Stinson is Legendary. I keep a book filled with all the quotes I like...things my friends have said, a song, a movie quote, scripture, etc. I have a bond with the Cullen family that no one can understand and this whole "twilight craze" is making me sad that it is no longer my own little special world anymore. It's every other girl in America's too. I want turquoise hair. I am too pale. But it suits me I guess. Cupcakes make me happy. I work 5 days a week as a reprint technician. All those spiffy copyright lines in Dummies books...yeah. I do that. :D I love painting, but I don't have time for it. I can beat you at Wii Tennis. I HATE scary movies. Anything demonic or super bloody is a NO! Sick. I get chills when I listen to "Ponytail Parades." Also any other song I like.... I am messy. I have orange hair that is natural. I LOVE LOVE Photography, sketching, painting, playing with my Blythe dollies Gwen and SJ and working on Illustrator and Photoshop. I am obsessed with Dolls. I spend hours on end looking at custom Blythes, Pullips, Etc. I love God with all my heart. My husband Grant is the sweetest guy I have ever known and I love him so much! He puts up with all of my crazy! :) My family is amazing and so loving.
