The Paleo diet is derived from the theory that the perfect diet that promotes human health is one that is similar to the diet of our ancestors. Foods that are excluded from the Paleo diet consist of grains, processed oils, refined sugar, starches, alcohol, dairy products, and legumes. Although this diet is controversial, there is strong evidence that the bad foods we consume on a daily basis is the underlying cause for modern health problems such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity.
The Paleo diet is an approach that takes us back to a natural and healthy way of eating like our ancestors.
