OOTD: cozy in stripes

The weather in LA is finally getting slightly chilly, emphasis on the word slightly, but I’m too excited to dress cozy in sweaters and scarves to wait so this outfit was a perfect lightweight compromise. I love a traditional pattern like stripes but with a twist like this cotton/cashmere Splendid sweater which I got at 68% off at Nordstrom Rack (similar boxy style), which is totally splendid! Another fabulous find were these J Brand skinny jeans, one of my fave denim brands, at 60% off. My favorite part of this outfit may be these tall boots by Mia which have a stretch that makes zipping over my horseback-rider /ballet-barre-class-addict calves a breeze (similar here)!

I topped off this look with a lightweight loop scarf, Cole Haan sunnies, pink lipstick, Mr. Kate jewelry and my DIY earthy, boho, oversized fringe bag.
