Be Crafty AZ
I can’t believe that Be Crafty AZ has already come and gone!
The last few months have been busy as we prepared for the workshop, but it was so fun working with Amanda, Katy, Lesley, Cole and Kate to make it all happen.
We held the workshop at Old Main on ASU’s Campus. It was so pretty!
Lauren of Lauren Jean Photography met all the girls outside as they arrived for the workshop and took photos of them in our super cute photo booth that Lesley chalked for us. The pretty paper fans are from Shop Sweet Lulu.
Barberry and Lace, Cupcake Mag and Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market sponsored our workshop. They are all local to AZ and were awesome to work with!
And Hello Apparel, which is another AZ company, sponsored our shirts.
This is just a few of the photo booth pics taken. They ALL turned out so very cute!
I loved that I got to meet people I had known online for a long time (Erin in the photo above shared her home for Home Made Lovely in 2011!) and being able to make so many new friends, too.
As the girls came into the building they found the SWAG bags, that were full of happy handmade goodies, lining the wooden staircase. It looked like a crafty dream, it was so pretty!
I hand stamped all the bags and Cole created the prettiest felt flower name tags that we then attached to each one. The cute little honeycomb balls are from Shop Sweet Lulu.
I mean, just look at all that handmade cuteness?! The ladies that attended really did get the greatest stuff.

We also included cards in each bag with the workshop hashtags and the IG names of our sponsors.
The room was cute to begin with, but we made it even cuter by adding giant balloons from Sucre and Confetti, balloon tassels created by Amanda and floral centerpieces from Butterfly Petals.
The Mason Bar Co. sent mint lids and straws for everyone, so we decided to add jars so they could be used at the workshop. And Fairytale Brownies sent treats for us, too!
I really loved that we had time to have coffee, eat lunch and craft together.
After lunch we got crafty creating chalkboard hoop art using chalk cloth from The Modern June, yarn wrapped ampersands with crepe paper flowers and flower cabochon magnets.
Lesley led the chalk art project and did such a great job! She also made these cute kits for everyone that included a print with chalk art tips and a pencil.
The colors of the crepe paper from Castle in the Air were soooo dreamy!
There are so many more photos I want to share with you guys, including some from a little party I hosted at my home the night before, but I feel like I’m reaching that magic picture number in this post, so I’ll stop for now.
The day was just so full of crafty and kind hearted goodness, and I truly hope every woman that attended left with a happy heart. I know I did.
