National Martini Day

Cheers to National Martini Day!

Whether you like it “shaken, not stirred” à la James Bond, or served straight up, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a delicious Martini in celebration of this special day!

Served in one of our many stylish and diverse Martini Glasses, why not try one of these tasty Martini recipes and raise a toast to National Martini Day!

Classic Martini

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1 or 3, olives or lemon twist for garnish
  • Orange or Angostura bitters (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Add a dash of orange or Angostura bitters, if desired
  5. Garnish with the olive or lemon twist.

Dirty Martini

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1/4-1/2 ounce olive juice, to taste
  • Olive for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with an olive.

Apple Martini

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce green apple schnapps
  • 1/4 ounce lemon juice

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Coconut Martini

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 1 ounce coconut rum
  • 1/2 ounce cream of coconut
  • Splash of pineapple juice
  • Pineapple wedge or coconut flakes for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and/or coconut flake.

Gingerbread Man-tini

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces citrus vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounces Hiram Walker Gingerbread liquer
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Rub the lime wedge on the rim of a frozen cocktail glass and leave the lime there for a garnish.
  2. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Strain into the glass.
