A week into May already! Where did April go? The pace life passes by is gaining speed at a frighteningly rapid rate lately. The sun rays that soaked our skin with little flecks of yellow over the bank holiday weekend, did nothing but make it feel like we're on the home-straight to summer and I don't think it will be possible to endure the last slog of coursework, that hangs heavily over my shoulders, whilst the weather is so teasingly-good. That said, it is unfortunately necessary, that I concentrate hard over the next week or so and get myself together.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to overcome the fear of not wearing anything on your legs when the weather permits, I just couldn't bring myself to do it despite everything being ideal. So set in my layering and winter ways, sun truly boggles me! Wearing my new little shirt, that I thrifted recently, with my favourite denim shorts and bleached my hair out a tad too. Not sure how keen I currently feel towards the colour change. I'm aiming to go ginger eventually, but just didn't possess the patience to see it through properly which resulted in this sort of highlighty hair ensemble instead!
This weekend just gone has seen house guests stay throughout, throwing an extra dog into the mix too(I'm talking six people and six dogs all under just the one roof!), surviving on a good amount of chilled lemonade and escapes to the garden for afternoon chit-chat.
