Multnomah Falls

Before reaching Portland, you can stop at Multnomah Falls and stretch your legs. The park is a lot smaller then I expected it to be, but very beautiful. I was fascinated with all the green moss everywhere considering it was winter. Everything was so alive. The place is a bit of a tourist trap, so it was crowded. I think it's worth the stop though and it's free! There are other waterfalls and more trails along the river, we just didn't have time to check them out.

It's amazing how in Oregon things are green all year round. This is a big deal to me because in Wyoming everything is brown and dead over half of the year. Multnomah Falls is a beautiful place to snap some photos and breathe in the fresh air.
