With Valentine’s Day over, I had to start thinking of recipes for the next holiday, St. Patrick’s Day. When I think of St. Patrick’s Day, I always think of chocolate and mint. I have no idea really where that association came from. I am not sure if it is because mint is green and green is the color of St. Patrick’s Day. I’m not really sure, but since mint I love chocolate and mint and I think they are great anytime, I’m going to go with it. Have you ever made truffles? I love truffles, but it is a pain to dip each truffle in chocolate and it takes a lot of time. I’m lazy, so I haven’t really made truffles in awhile. Plus my husband hates the mess I make when I make truffles, I somehow get chocolate everyway, it is usually a disaster. When I saw
Inside Bru Crew’s Gingerbread Oreo Truffle Bark, I knew that would be a much easier way to make truffles without all the mess and I knew I had to try it.
I decided to make truffle bark using Mint Oreos. This Mint Oreo Truffle Bark is so delicious. I really love the combination of the chocolate with the Mint Oreo Truffle. I also love how easy this treat is to make. It looks really decadent and like it took a long time to make, but it can be made quickly. This would also be a great treat to give as gifts around the holidays. I hope you enjoy this yummy truffle bark!
