A Vintage Black Dress (Glamgerous)

Does it ever happen that you clean your closet and suddenly discover clothes that you thought were gone for good and think “Here you are! Where the hell have you been?” It happens to me often, expecially when I go back to Italy and look into my old closet, frozen to 4 years ago, when I used to live in my parents’ house. Obviously, there are many ghosts from the past in there and clothes that would make my grandma shiver , but sometimes I find items that, not only have a sentimental value but they are actually “wearable”. And this is the case! I found this super simple black dress from Alberta Ferretti, perfect to wear during the holidays. I matched it with a red-fire lipstick, a braid-bun and vernis black heels.

Capita anche a voi di rispolverare il vostro armadio e trovare pezzi ormai dimenticati e mai utilizzati e pensare….”Ecco dove diavolo eri finito!” A me succede spessissimo, specialmente quando torno in Italia e apro il mio vecchio armadio, bloccato nel tempo a 4 anni fá, quando vivevo ancora in quella casa. Ovviamente escono mostri del passato e cose che farebbero rabbrividire anche mia nonna, ma volte ritrovo dei pezzi che oltre ad avere un particolare valore affettivo sono anche “mettibili”.

É successo con questo abito nero di Alberta Ferretti, perfetto da indossare durante le feste. Io l’ho abbinato a un rossetto rosso fuoco, chignon con treccia laterale e tacchi neri lucidi.
