Meet Our Head Stylist…
I’m delighted to introduce you to this week’s Head Stylist, Gina from Pink Wings. How gorgeous is this bright full skirt, I adore the red mixed with stripes – oh and isn’t her Kate Spade bag divine!?
STYLE Q&A WITH GINA:
How would you describe your style? I’m generally attracted to all things preppy, feminine and conservative. I love basic well-made pieces that I can dress up with fun accessories. If I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life it would be J.Crew or Madewell, I love their stuff.
Which fashion trend are you currently loving? Stripes have always been around, but for some reason lately I’m loving them more than ever. Especially in my home, I’m currently working on putting together a black and white stripe theme with gold accents.
What inspired you to start your blog? I originally started with a food blog and then came across a few friends who had fashion blogs. I realized how much I loved following their blogs, plus I’ve always been into fashion, so I finally started a blog combining both my style and food experiments.
Name three beauty products you couldn’t live without: “It’s a 10″ leave-in conditioner, Lise Watier Concealer for my panda eyes and Smashbox Primer.
What is your best beauty trick? Beauty is not my area of expertise but after 20 years I’ve finally figured out how to best cover my panda eyes: I use Smashbox Green Primer, Lise Watier concealer on my under-eyes and Lancome Eyelid Primer. Those three things give me a perfect blank canvas for the rest of my makeup.
What is your favorite (or dream) vacation destination? There are so many places I still haven’t been to, but even so, whenever I get the chance to travel I just have to go to Korea. It’s my second home and I’m constantly missing it.
Tell us something not many people know about you? Sometimes I wish I was blonde!
