Weekend Recap

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Things have been a bit hectic over here with Mike starting his new job today (and will begin school later this month to get his PE teaching credential), I took on way too many blog/work related projects, and then there’s that whole getting engaged thing. Things have been non-stop. I want to say everything will slow down, but it looks like we have stuff going on until the beginning of next year (um, hello!). That adult schedule is real, people.

In shopping related news, I’ve been to Zara a couple times in the last couple of weeks and I’m happy to report their new fall stuff is pretty good. For those of us who are vertically challenged, the striped shirt dress is a great length and fits really nicely. I know we’re headed toward fall, but I also snagged the most delicate and perfect white embroidered romper. Since the temps don’t really drop here until the end of October, I’ll probably work it in with my fall wardrobe (thinking denim and leather jackets).

Nothing like a little retail therapy to balance out all the craziness, right?
