American Crossings from Winter Promise Introduction

Last year my 10 year old and I got to ‘test drive’ the Japan Unit Study from Spirited Autumn Hope, an offshoot of Winter Promise.

My daughter really enjoyed their Charlotte Mason approach and I loved the ease of using the premade schedule and teacher helps.

Since we homeschool year around, my daughter and I will be embarking on a most wonderful journey. In just a short time we will begin American Crossings Early American History for grades 4-7 spanning the explorers to The Civil War.

I’ll be sharing specifics on our studies and activities in wrap up form from New World Explorers, Colonial Life, The American Revolution, and The Early 19th Century. We’ll also be utilizing these Time Travelers project CD-roms from Home School in the Woods.

We look forward to updating this blog with our progress and sharing the wonderful hands on activities included in the American Crossings curriculum. Until we officially get started, you can check out free studies and samples from Winter Promise on their new and improved website!
