Summer Playlist

Yesterday evening Matt and I finished Orange is the New Black which means that I then had a ton of new free time on my hands. So naturally I did productive things like making a new playlist for when I am melting during the next few months of summer runs.

Just making this playlist makes me want to lace up and run forever. Or at least until I collapse from a heat stroke.

After creating my epic playlist, I cleaned up my iPhone photos so that my phone might actually work rather than just weigh down my purse. Here’s a look at what has been hanging around in my cloud. PS: I have no idea what the cloud is.

I have been listening to the Songza Disney Sing-Along station at work all day for the past 3 days, like all adults do. After much deliberation, I think that the Hercules soundtrack may be the most underrated movie soundtrack of all time.

I got to hang out with one of my college roommates this weekend at my best friend’s wedding. She is the only person I know that loves sweets as much as I do and she always manages to have super model hair despite the crazy rainy, humid Florida weather. I’d hate her for that last thing if she wasn’t the nicest girl in the world.

On our drive to Miami last Friday Matt and I stopped for a coffee break when this dinosaur looking bug attacked us. It sounded like a baseball hitting the windshield and looked like a cockroach morphed with a cicadia/pterodactyl.

When it flew away, I immediately thought of this scene from How I Met Your Mother

Last night I also realized that I have been slacking on my fruit eating. So I fixed that by eating a pound of strawberries…with two pounds of chocolate.

I think we can all agree that is enough random for one day.

Do you eat all the recommended fruits/veggies? Sometimes I eat 4 times the recommended amount. Other days I have to count ketchup as a veggie so that I feel semi-healthy.
