Jimmy Choo Townhouse

A post entirely unrelated to having a baby, it had to happen eventually!

On Sunday afternoon I had the enviable pleasure of attending the relaunch of Jimmy Choo's New Bond Street store. Branded the townhouse, the beautiful new shop is decked out over three fabulous floors and stocked with the whole range of Jimmy Choo woman, including; footwear, handbags, sunglasses, small leather goods and fragrance.

Expectations were high and the new townhouse certainly didn't disappoint, upon arrival I was greeted by the gorgeous new terracotta facade of the shop - an unexpected discovery during renovations. The warm glow of the new 200M² store is created with signature palettes of satin gold, rose marble and mink velvet, all offset beautifully by the statement shoes and bags in luxurious display cabinets.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of Champagne and shown around the store, all the while enjoying the wonderful canapés and sweet treats provided by the amazing staff from the Berkeley Hotel - Jimmy Choo are about to collaborate with the Berkeley Hotel on their Prêt-à-Portea concept, find out more about that here: http://www.the-berkeley.co.uk/whats-new/

The store is well spaced out, but without feeling sparse, the first floor features the private Champagne bar, ready for private events, serving VIP customers as well as brides shopping for their perfect wedding Choos. On the ground floor the newly launched CHOO.08° collection was proudly displayed and downstairs there was even a temporary NARS manicure station set up just for the evening. I was delighted to be able to get my nails taken care of whilst surrounded by beautiful shoes and handbags and choose a rich deep purple colour, inspired by the new season Riley Ink Tote Bag.

To celebrate the opening of the renovated store Jimmy Choo designed an exclusive version of their classic Candy bag. The bag features a bold image of the quintessentially British red phone box, which catches your attention the moment you walk in the shop while reminding you of the brand’s London roots.

Also available in this store is the new made-to-order service that allows you to choose a classic Choo design and then customise it with your own choice of colours and fabric. You can even choose to get your initials inscribed on the sole!

Alongside admiring the fabulous shoes I was thrilled to catch up with my fellow bloggers and enjoy a few hours without having to change any nappies. Thank you so much to all the Jimmy Choo team for inviting me along!
