I was looking online one day at pottery and ran across Emerson Creek Pottery. I looked at their website and fell in love with a few of their products so I contacted them and was so excited that they allowed me to do a review on their products. . All of their pottery is handmade and fired in a gas kiln. All of their painting is done by hand so every piece is similar but different, which makes each piece so unique.

There are many different patterns including Iris, Dragonflies, ,Blueberries, Tuscan Olive, and so many more. When I had to decide on my piece for review I had such a hard time because there are so many items that I want. I ended up choosing the Summer Peaks Sugar Bowl pattern because I could not get over how much it reminded me of a piece of my childhood.

When I was little I spent many days over my Great Aunt’s house and she always had this beautiful sugar bowl on her table. I remember for breakfast she would let me put a spoonful of sugar on my Corn Flakes or in my Cream of Wheat. Ever since then I could never forget a gorgeous piece of pottery!

My new sugar bowl is my favorite piece on my table. I feel proud to show it off and I seriously love it because it is truly a piece of art! I use it everyday for my morning coffee and I even keep the tradition my Aunt started and let my daughter put a little spoonful of sugar in her Rice Krispies while she admires our lovely sugar bowl. I know she is so young, but I know it will be something she’ll always remember just like I do. Who knew a sugar bowl could make such an impression, but when it is a beautiful work of art anything is possible! :)
