Hydraluron Moisture Booster - From Indeed Labs

30 ml for GBP 24.99

When the skincare guru Caroline Hirons says you must have something - then you know you cannot live without having to try that something on yourself. This woman knows what she is talking about and I can assure you if you blindly trust her you won't be disappointed. But did it work on me?

I bought this for the reason that I do suffer from extremely dry skin. I am always using oils and what not on my skin to calm down and hide those dry patches I have. I have read about the key ingredient that Hydraluron has, from which it derives its name, i.e. Hyluronic acid. This is known for its hydrating properties. I have found this in many skincare serums and moisturizers. But never seen any drastic benefit. Hydraluron, however, says that it contains the pure form of Hyaluronic acid, an incredibly hydrating ingredient that holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water, which I am guessing is different from what I have read on other products perhaps they contain this in small quantity. They also state that it contains something called red marine algae, which helps with maximum delivery. Given this, I was expecting it to work better than other products with the same ingredient that I have used.

This is a serum, which you are suggested to use twice a day - Morning & Evening, daily. It was very difficult for me to get my hands on this, as it is not available in India. But I was eager and kept pestering my friend in the UK to send me one tube. I got this two weeks back & since then, every day I see myself wanting to put this on. I couldn't see any huge difference. But it is something you feel when you stop using this. I was travelling for two days and forgot to bring this with me. That is when I could feel my skin was not acting better as it would when I have this on. My foundation goes on better and my skin feels smooth all day!!! Now, I cannot bear to go a single day without this. I would also like to mention that this states to minimize the need for tropical moisturizing, that hasn't happened with me yet. I cannot go on using this alone without a moisturizer. So, that still has to be tested for.

I use it twice a day before I apply my moisturizer. It absorbs instantly and is very lightweight. Has a transparent/clear gel consistency. My face feels good to touch all day long & I don't have to moisturize my skin again.

I do worry about what will happen when I run out of this, how many times can I ask my friend to send it to me. Other thing that bothers me about this is the price. GBP 24.99 for only 30ml!!! almost as close to 1 pound per ml. I do think you don't need a lot anyways. But still 30 ml is going to last only 30 days if you use twice a day. It does come in a big box but the tube actually takes up only 1/3rd of the space. Guess the space is to put all the information on the box. But now I have tried it and I love it to bits! This is what my skin craves for.

If you are in the UK, this is available at Boots and is also on sale sometimes (lucky you)
