The Body Shop – Cocoa Butter Body Scrub - Review
The Body Shop has some really commendable bath & body products. One of my favorites is the Cocoa Butter Body Scrub.This looks very delectable with the amazing smell of cocoa butter and the buttery creamy texture. Body scrubbing is one of the skincare essentials and finding a product that does that with ease can be difficult to find.
I have very dry skin and the thought of scrubbing it scares me. So, I wanted a product that would exfoliate and at the same time moisturize as well. This scrub takes care of both. While the ground almond shell exfoliates, cocoa butter moisturizes which is gentle to my skin. The granules are just the right roughness and size.
The cocoa scent is strong and stays on until next shower – which I love. I can use it both in the shower and even on dry skin. Works great both ways. Moreover, this is the best scrub to use in the shower because of the ground almond shells. If you have tried some scrubs that have sugar in it, they melt before you even start scrubbing. I feel sugar scrubs are better to be used only on dry skin. That’s one big disadvantage of sugar scrubs. But with this fine beauty, you can scrub as much as you want without worrying for it to melt in water and the granules don’t clog drains either. This washes off very easily and my skin is so smooth like it has sloughed off dead skin cells along. Also good to prevent ingrown hair. There’s not even a single thing to hate about this scrub. Brilliant product! I am so lucky to have found this.
This comes in a transparent plastic tub, of 200 ml full to the rim, with a screw lid. Only 1-2 tbsps is all I require for a single use. I have been using this for past 4 months, 2-3 times a week and yet ½ of it is left. INR 995 for 200 ml.
