Let me start this post off with a little story. When Dave and I first met his was wearing what looked like flared jeans. If I wasn’t so dazed by his adorable personality, I would have probably laughed in his face because they were bad. Fast forward a few months and I finally approached him about said jeans explaining that the fit was completely wrong. I could relate, denim has always been the hardest thing to shop for and as I get older I have realized that what is on trend or “the most flattering” may not be the case for everyone {read: me}. Dave stood in the mirror and after two minutes looked at me and said “oh god, I need new jeans.” For Dave, he has great legs {weird?} and a really fit figure so it seemed silly to hide them under a pair of bootcut jeans. However, there are so many different styles, washes, silhouettes, fabrics, etc. out there that sometimes it’s hard to figure out where to begin so I’ve collected 8 styles for your guy to ensure that he is always looking stylish. This may be a personal preference but regardless of your man’s shape/size, I can almost guarantee that a straight/slim leg jean will make him look slimmer. The same goes for women, Dave always tells me I look heavier in flowy things and you know what, he’s right! Guys need to show off the goods too, you know?

With denim becoming a staple in the workplace over the past few years, I think it’s important for our men to have a really nice pair of jeans. I prefer a darker wash with a slim leg, but if slim legs are scary then a straight leg will give your guy some more room. I can always count on them to carry my favorite designers {J Brand and AG for him, rag & bone and J Brand for me!} and they know exactly how everything fits so I don’t have to waste my time trying on a ton of jeans that don’t work.
