Ocean drive.

Wake up, prepare breakfast, put it in a paper bag, slip on your sandals, head to the beach, breathe deep.
Is this not a life that gives itself meaning? This is just the start of one of the most beautiful trips. My friend Anat and I decided to take a #werktrip to Miami beach, a city I fell in love with exactly half a year ago. I think I also realized that starting the day off at the beach is guaranteed to bring nothing but chill vibes and a feeling of peace for the rest of the day. Now if only Toronto beaches were crystal clear and bearable for swimming. Maybe I love Miami so much because I can actually swim in the ocean here- I tend to freeze and chicken out elsewhere.
We headed through Lincoln Road, had lunch back at our apartment and walked about a dozen kilometres to the southern part of Miami Beach. Good thing my Chanel flats are worn in and comfortable as socks.

Also, please take a moment to appreciate these sunglasses. I’ve been on a violent hunt for them for months, and they are honestly nowhere to be found in Toronto. Well funny thing- pretty much every store in Miami had them. So I snatched them up and now they never leave my face. Such a perfect piece for mixing vintage and contemporary.
