Lindam Backseat And Pushchair Organiser Review

As i’m sure is the case with most parents, i’ve come to realise now (and accept) that when you have young children, there comes a time when they suddenly start refusing to leave the house without taking every one of their worldly possessions with them. And we’re not talking necessities here, it’s anything from teddies, books and balls to toys, comforters, and clothing. Which is fine to a certain extent, but when your car starts to resemble more of a portable toybox and wardrobe rather than a mode of transport, you know you’ve got issues. So, in an effort to combat the mess, we were kindly sent a Lindam Backseat And Pushchair Organiser to put to the test.

Lindam have been established for 25 years and are Europe’s leading home safety brand. Their main aim and objective is to design clever products that help today’s parents feed and care for their children as safely as possible. All of their products are designed with babies, toddlers and parents in mind and are manufactured in accordance to industry standards to help ensure they are the safest on the market.

In addition to their fantastic selection of home safety and baby-proofing products, Lindam also have a range of travel accessories including head supports, sun shades, car seat protectors, mirrors and the Lindam Backseat And Pushchair Organiser.

Put simply, the Lindam Backseat And Pushchair Organiser should be an essential piece of kit for ALL new parents. Seriously. It is a universal system that fits easily to the rear of most car seats or pushchairs and is perfect for keeping all of those on-the-go essentials stored in one convenient place. Ideal for parents like me who’ve lost count of the amount of times they’ve been out on car journeys with screaming babies and had to fumble around in the footwells or an ‘out-of-reach’ changing bag for some wipes or a bottle of milk.

This organiser solves that problem as it is easily accessible to both the driver and the front passenger. In fact, Riley (2) could reach the organiser from his car seat so he was able to help himself to things as and when he wanted…the downside to this is that he was also able to pull the contents out and throw them back to what he believes is their rightful place on the floor. The exact situation i was trying to avoid in the first place. *Cue immediate transfer of the organiser to the other car seat*.

The Lindam Backseat and Pushchair Organiser provides a multitude of compartmental storage options for various items including nappies, wipes, toys, drinks, snacks and books. There is a large top pocket which features a mesh design and a zip fastening, 2 secure drink holders, a wide deep pocket for bulkier items and 3 further mesh pockets, all varying in size. There really is a place for everything and everything in its place.

What’s more, it couldn’t be quicker or simpler to secure the organiser to the back of the driver or passenger car seat, you just have to fit the straps around the base of the headrest and around the bottom of the seat and tighten as necessary. Job done! You also have the added benefit of it protecting the seats from the likes of tinkerous toddlers and their muddy shoes.

When you’re out and about and not wanting to cart a heavy changing bag everywhere with you, simply unclip the organiser to remove it from the car and transfer it over to the pushchair. To attach the the organiser to the pushchair, fold over the top section and loop the velcro straps around the handles. It really is as quick, useful and easy as it sounds.

Overall, the Lindam Backseat And Pushchair Organiser is a fantastic product and one that i would definitely recommend to parents. It provides the perfect storage solution for keeping those everyday essentials to hand whether you’re travelling in the car or out on foot and is an absolute bargain at £10.49.

For the purpose of this review, we used the organiser on our forward-facing Cosatto Supa Stroller which didn’t pose any issues at all. However, i wouldn’t say it is suitable for rear/parent facing pushchairs, particularly those with one handlebar as opposed to two separate handles, as we also have a Babystyle Oyster at home and it couldn’t be used on it for this very reason. So that’s something to bare in mind if you’re considering purchasing this product.

*Disclaimer: We were sent a Lindam Backseat And Pushchair Organiser for the purpose of this review, however all views are 100% honest and entirely my own.*
