Fabric and Quilts

I’ve seen these fabric posts popping up on blogs and instagram this week…it’s the obligatory Cotton Steel post! :)

I couldn’t help but buy a big stack myself…mostly the basics but with a few prints sprinkled in. My favorite is this States print:

I need an RV so I can make a cute States quilt to go in my RV. I’m sure my husband will agree. ;) You can buy Cotton Steel fabrics from these shops: Pink Chalk Fabrics, Westwood Acres, and Fat Quarter Shop.

I’m speaking at the Kitsap Quilters meeting tonight. I’m bringing 40 quilts in hopes that they will forget everything I say and enjoy looking at quilts. It better work cause I get a serious case of the mumbles when I speak in front of people.

My sweet friend Elizabeth is giving away this cute Scout quilt on her blog. She made it for her baby girl/boy…and since the baby was a boy…she’s giving away the girl version.

Her sweet little newborn almost makes me want another baby…almost.
