How to Install a Tuck Catch: Tips for Better Bag Building #2

It’s time for the next installment of my series: Tips for Better Bag Building! Today’s video shows you how to install a tuck catch, also called a thumb catch. They are super easy to use but it always helps to have someone show you how the components come together. Watch the video below for a quick demo and explanation:

I used two tuck catches on my Midtown Messenger Bag that I released last week as part of the Bag of the Month Club. You can find hardware kits for this bag in my etsy shop. You might also find tuck catches locally in leather craft stores. I think they add a great professional look to any handmade bag.
