Finding Entertainment On The Treadmill #177/365

I finally made it back to the gym today. I haven’t been for a couple of weeks or more. I went in thinking that I would just do a little time on the treadmill and then I would see. I was supposed to meet my husband in a couple of hours.

I got on the treadmill thinking I would struggle through about 30 minutes. I turned on the TV and guess what? The USA vs Germany World Cup game was coming on. I had forgotten that is was going to be on at noon. I put my headphones in and started watching the game.

I had just watched my first game on Sunday the USA vs Portugal game. I became a big fan right away. At least when it comes to watching the USA team. I started walking and watching the game. I think the lady on the treadmill next to me moved because I was yelling a couple of times. I forgot all about the time I was on the treadmill. The game was exciting. I couldn’t believe I walked the whole first half and it just seemed like a few minutes. I had walked over 50 minutes. I would have walked the whole game if I didn’t have to meet my husband.

Now if I can get interested in all the teams I think I have found my motivation for the treadmill. The games are only going to be going for a couple weeks or so but maybe I can get myself really going by then and will be back in a good habit.

The hairy legs in the picture do not belong to me! My legs might be a little hairy but I won’t take a picture of them.

Now I just need some motivation for lifting weights again. Any ideas?
