Beauty | Summertime Pastel Nails

Tomorrow’s the big day…it’s the first day of summer! So today I’m celebrating the long-anticipated new season with a pretty pastel manicure. I decided to wear pastel nails this summer after my recent mani with Essie’s Borrowed and Blue. I fell in love with the contrast between my (finally) tan skin and the pretty pastel blue nail polish. Now I’m hooked on summertime pastel nails!

I found this lovely pastel nail inspiration on Gary Pepper last night. I think Nicole Warne is the BEST personal style blogger out there. Her photos are always so BEAUTIFUL (oh, and so is she), and she comes up with the most creative shoots for her outfit posts. When I saw these photos, I knew I wanted to try each and every one of these pretty pastel shades on my nails. Turns out the polish is by American Apparel!! It’s hard to tell if the exact colors she’s wearing are still available online, but I found a few comparable shades, and I’m going to start checking around in stores for the exact matches.

I’m on a mission to find that “Summer Peach” shade before my manicure this afternoon. It would looks so good with a pedicure in a white polish! Perfect combo for my first mani-pedi of the new season.
