I am so excited to be hosting this project again, and I hope you are too! The Happy Mail Project will run from August 1 – September 30th. During this two month period, the goal is to get to know your partner a little better and make a new friend in the blog world. There are tens of thousands of bloggers around the world and I hope this makes the community feel just a little smaller.

This project’s theme will be

Remember those days when you were nervous about starting a new grade or even a new school? You got your new outfit all picked out and your backpack backed, but with butterflies in stomach. I can vividly remember being so nervous to start freshman year in high school. I knew had just 4 years left until I went to college and (gulp) be an adult. I used to drive past the school with my mom, screaming in the car “I’m going to throw up!”.

I wanted to make friends right off the bat so I signed up for cross-country. The team began right before school started and I had my mom drop me off at the first practice. I got out of the car and I think the look of terror on my face evident. Luckily, the girls could tell I was nervous and took me under their wing. What made it great by joining the team was on the first day of school, I knew some girls from the team were in a few of my classes. It made it better knowing I wouldn’t be alone and I would have friends to eat lunch with.

So this project is kinda like going back to school. You are meeting new friends you might not have known in the blogging community. There’s no need to feel nervous!

Requirements

Get into contact with your partner within 2 days of the partner reveal day on August 8th

You must locate your partner either on email or social media. Girls who have not heard from their partner within 2 days will be re-matched with another blogger. Girls who did not respond to their partner will be dropped from future projects.

Boxes must be shipped by September 15th

This is so they can arrive by the end of the project date (September 30th). Boxes must have a $20 minimum and include at least 4-5 items. The items must be new, unless you are making something for your partner.

Sample items to go along with this projects theme:

-Notebooks, pens, cute pouches to keep things organized in a purse (example), coffee mugs, a favorite book, reading light, hand sanitizer, etc.

-Fall items (candles, soap, candy, etc)

-Get to know your partner so you can tailor the box what they like!

Instagram your Happy Mail

When you receive your happy mail from your partner, take a picture and share on Instagram. The picture must be tagged to:

@pinkonthecheek and your partner #happymailproject.

Optional Tasks

Create a post for the Happy Mail Project reveal day on October 2nd.

There will be a link-up available starting this date. You don’t have to get the post live on this day, as linky party will stay up for a month. This is a wonderful way to see what other partners gifted and how the project worked for them.
