We Are What We Tweet

This week my husband and I will be heading up to Sonoma for Thanksgiving at my Mom’s house. This is our first Thanksgiving where my mom doesn’t live in San Francisco and for that, I am thankful.

Why I don’t like Thanksgiving in San Francisco:

• It’s a hot mess getting in and out of the city on Thanksgiving.
• There is zero parking around Mom’s house (this applies to any given day, really).
• We are all squeezed into a small dining area because you know, San Francisco.

Now my mom has a much bigger house (and a yard!) out in Sonoma! This year year we have enough space that we can all spend the night at Momma’s, the dogs will have room to play, and the kitchen is big enough that more than 2 people can cook at the same time!

Thanksgiving will be the only time this year that I will see all family members at the same time, so I am taking this opportunity to scope out ideas for Christmas gifts.
