After a perfect run at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games that won her the first-ever gold medal in women’s slopestyle, our elite ambassador Jamie Anderson has become somewhat of a household name, especially in her hometown of Meyers, California (just south of Lake Tahoe).

With beautiful Lake Tahoe as her playground, the now 23-year-old got her start in snowboarding at just nine after getting her hands on some of her big sister’s old gear. As one of eight siblings who were home schooled, she quickly learned how to entertain herself outside, and meanwhile fell in love with snowboarding, the outdoors and simply being out in nature. She practices dancing warrior in the mountains, appreciates nature, great food and music. Read on to find out where Jamie’s favourite spots to eat, play and relax in Tahoe are, just in time for Wanderlust Squaw Valley.
