The Porky Fig | Fall Pizza Recipe

One of my favorite flavors of fall is fig. They’re absolutely gorgeous & sweet as candy. I love tossing them in salads, snacking on them, or using the jam in a crostini bar – & pizza! Yes, pizza. The sweet fig flavor balances a salty prosciutto making a fall pizza you’ll crave again & again! That’s why I’ve been seeing the porky fig combination in so many ways, salads, pizzas, sandwiches & appetizers! This is one bandwagon I am all over. I’m riding it through fall & incorporating it into everything.

Making pizza at home is so simple & it’s a meal the girls can help me with too! Adalyn & Ani really enjoy creating their own pizzas. I roll out the dough & they add the sauce & toppings & cheese. We all loved this pizza, but Isla just couldn’t get enough of it!

My secret to really great pizza is freshly shredded cheese. It takes just a couple additional minutes, but it is so much creamier! Brushing a little olive oil on the crust never hurts either! As I’ve mentioned in previous pizza recipes, I prefer to buy my pizza dough from local pizzerias, but grocery store doughs work as well, I’ve just never found one I love near as much. If you have a favorite, PLEASE share!

Alright, onto the details so you can make some fall dreams come true!
