Sweet Potato Bar and I…

No matter where I’m at in life, it always comes back to music. It evokes memories of some of my favorite moments. I can hardly resist going into song. Sweet potatoes do that to me. Sliced into fries, made into casseroles or smashed, I can’t get enough of them! Recently, I set up a simple sweet potato bar for guests to make their own creation. Bars are great for easy entertaining & picky eaters like myself! It gives guests the opportunity to experiment, using their favorite ingredients.

Create your own sweet potato bar with these suggestions:

sweet potatoes cleaned & baked at 400 degrees for 45-55 minutes {depending on size}

Sweet
marshmallow cream
candied nuts
brown sugar
chocolate chips
honey*

Savory
salt
nuts
butter
sour cream
blue cheese
shredded jack
bacon
chives*

I’ll be honest, these also make a pretty phenomenal non-traditional dinner. What’s your favorite type of bar to host?
