Yesterday started out pretty rocky, I was running late from the get go, I could not peel myself out of bed, and as I was driving I swear it was an obstacle course where I dodged cars trying to wreck me all the way. Then when I finally arrived at work I found out I had to take over for someone in doing a presentation. So ponytail and venti coffee (yes I still stopped for coffee and yes I needed one the size of my head) in hand I powered through the 45 minute speaking engagement and prayed for a calmer afternoon. By the time dinner came around I had calmed down significantly and stopped on the way home to pick up ingredients for a yummy grilled dinner. I made fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and grilled broccoli. Deee-lish. Hope your day is a peaceful and productive one and if it isn't yet, don't forget there is always time to make a change for the better before bedtime. Go get 'em!
