two digital photographs

two photographs from the last day of may. the evening was so incredibly beautiful and i decided to go out for a photoshoot, an anlogue one. i went to a nearby school (a steiner-school) who's yard contains heaps of apple trees, many houndred year old oaks, old buildings with colored windows and a barn. i was looking for an apple tree since i got a roll of colorfilm in my mamiya i wanted to photograph a blooming apple tree. found one. it was huge and so unbelieveably beautiful. the sun was setting behind it's branches, the light was perfect. when i was done with the middleformat i decided that i should stay for a little longer. the evening was so warm and you could hear birds in the distance. i sat down on the grass and then i got this feeling that i wanted to shoot some digital images aswell. above is the result, a selfie and the apple tree.
summer has really arrived. i've been swimming, celebrated my old friend's graduation, skateboarding, cooking and eating good food. life's almost too bliss at the moment. too perfect.
i'm extremely eager to start shooting with my new minolta. i'm in need of some color photography. i'll order some film tomorrow. i hope i'll be able to keep you guys updated with more everyday photos, it would be nice for a change don't you think?
