WET but DRY

Endlich wurden meine Gebete beantwortet. Wenn es in NYC regnet, dann in der Regel halt richtig! Und da die Straßen samt Abflusssystem nicht ganz so einwandfrei konstruiert sind wie in Deutschland, passieren solche Riesen-Pfützen deutlich häufiger … nämlich an jeder Ecke. Bisher hatte ich nur ein Paar Regenstiefel, die zwar meine Füße trocken gehalten haben, aber einfach nicht zu allem gepasst haben. Aber jetzt, endlich — Rain Man Japan. Wunderschöne, simple Derbies, die komplett 100% wasserdicht sind, grandios aussehen und auch absolut bequem sind. Ich kann sie euch nur von tiefstem Herzen empfehlen – sie sind die Investition wert! Wobei ich jetzt gar nicht genau weiß, ob ihr an die in Deutschland rankommt … solltet ihr Probleme haben, aber wollt sie unbedingt, schreibt mir ne e-Mail, vielleicht kann ich euch ja helfen! And thus my prayers were answered. “When it rains it pours.” A New Yorker must have said that first. And since our wonderful streets and canal system aren’t quite what they used to, huge puddles like the one above are easily spotted on basically every corner of the city. Until now, I only had a pair of rain boots that did keep my feet dry, yes, but not as reliably, and frankly, they just didn’t work with everything. But now, finally — Rain Man Japan. Beautiful, simple derbies, 100% waterproof and absolutely comfortable. I absolutely recommend them to anybody who has ever worried about getting his or her shoes wet (though I don’t know about sizing, sorry ladies) … they are absolutely worth the investment!
