Fresh starts, taking chances and a feeling that anything is possible was Deborah’s Lloyd inspiration for Kate Spade 2015.

Nuevos comienzos, correr riesgos y un sentimiento de que todo es posible fue la inspiración de Deborah Lloyd para la primavera 2015.

And who wouldn’t be inspired by that! My first day at Fashion Week was all about that, the adventure that it is life, how you have to create opportunities, work for the life that you want and play by your own rules! And of course, having a beautiful outfit for that! As Diana Vreeland once declared “A new dress doesn’t get you anywhere, it’s the life you’re living in the dress.”

The Kate Spade presentation was beautiful, relaxed and very fun! I’m in love with the different hats and athletic influences. My highlight? The fact that I was able to talk for a while with Deborah Lloyd, chief creative officer of Kate Spade and Brad Goreski the stylist of the brand! They remembered me from their visit to Mexico City and the dinner and Vogue Mexico photo shoot. Their always so nice and we talked about about fashion, no, actually we didn’t! We talked about how great mexican food is, and the truth is that I don’t blame them!

Y quién no se inspiraría en eso! Mi primer día en Fashion Week ha sido acerca de eso, hablar sobre como la vida es toda una aventura, como tienes que crear tus propias oportunidades, trabajar mucho para la vida que quieres pero al mismo tiempo jugar bajo tus propios términos! Y, ¿porqué no? Tener un outfit adecuado para eso! Como Diana Vreeland alguna vez dijo “un vestido no te lleva a ningún lado, es la vida que estás viviendo en ese vestido”.

La presentación estuvo increíble, muy relajada pero al mismo tiempo muy divertida! Estoy enamorada de los sombreros y de las prendas con influencias atléticas. ¿Mi highlight del día? Platicar con Deborah Lloyd, directora creativa de la marca, así como con Brad Goreski el estilista de Kate Spade. Se acordaban de mi de su viaje a D.F para la apertura de Kate Spade y del photo shoot para Vogue México. Tuvimos una platica súper amena sobre moda, bueno, en realidad fue un poco más sobre lo rica que es la comida mexicana, y no puedo culparlos por eso!!
