Sunshine and Mountain Air…

Lately, Drew and I have been taking Mr. Dash on the hiking trails up the canyon, above where we live. We jog along the trails with Dash following right at our heels, until all three of us are worn out! Before we head back home, we love taking Dash to play in the water at Tibble Fork (a lake right below the trails we run on) that’s his puppy heaven, splashing in the water and chasing the ducks.

Drew and I have always loved being outdoors, we live in such a beautiful area with breathtaking mountain scenery, it’s hard not to take advantage of the fresh mountain air. Each time we head out the door to spend time in the sunshine, I always make sure both Drew and I have the right products to best protect our skin from the sun. It can be really easy to forget to put sunscreen on when you’re not at a beach or swimming, but I’ve learned over the years that it’s crucial to wear sun protection any time you’re spending time outside and in the sunshine.

My favorite products to use are the Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Ultra Radiance Lotion Sunscreen and the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Lotion Sunscreen. I love the facial sunscreen because it’s oil free so I don’t break out when I use it. Both smell heavenly and even though I live thousands of miles from a beach, when I use Hawaiian Tropic it brings a sense of summer time and a tropical paradise to our day up in the mountains.
