11 Uses for Argan Oil

1. As a moisturizer. Replacing or complimenting your daily moisturizer with argan oil is simple and effective. It's extremely hydrating and full of vitamins for healthy skin.

2. Treat acne. Because it is non-greasy and moisturizing, argan oil can help to treat and prevent breakouts.

3. As a cuticle and hand lotion. Argan oil has a similar effect on hands as it does on the face. It's my secret trick to baby-soft hands!

4. To hydrate rough patches. It can be applied all over the body - don't limit the hydration to hands and face alone!

5. To prevent stretch marks. Argan oil has a high Vitamin E content, which promotes skin elasticity. This means your growing baby bump is less likely to scar.

6. As a lip balm. An argan oil balm works best for this, but pure argan oil has restorative benefits as well.

7. As a hair treatment. Leave oil in hair overnight to restore protein and create a healthier look. Rinse and shampoo in the morning.

8. As a leave-in conditioner. Argan oil applied to hair after showering promotes overall health and creates shine.

9. To treat split ends. After showering, I always apply a few drops of argan oil to my ends to prevent splitting.

10. To tame frizzy hair. Use a couple of drops on problem areas to control the frizz.

11. To heal mild burns. Don't ask me why it works, but it does! I apply a little bit of oil to mild burns on my mouth or hands, and it helps speed healing.
