Sales season has arrived! All the best fall / winter garb has gone on clearance, and it's time to celebrate.
The only thing to keep in mind is responsible sales shopping! It's tempting to say the least, but we need to set rules for ourself - particularly when price deductions are present. I've put together a set of rules for myself to follow when sales shopping.
1. Set a budget. Duh, though - setting and following a budget is the easiest way to stay shopping responsibly.
2. Keep the big picture in mind. How does a single piece fit into your wardrobe? Is is cohesive, and is it something you need?
3. Follow my steps to build the perfect wardrobe. Does this piece follow those rules, or is it an exception?
4. Will you regret not buying it? Because sometimes, you just need to follow your gut and take the dive.
