Prabal Gurung Spring 2015 Collection

Prabal Gurung was born in Singapore but raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. Gurung began his fashion career in New Delhi but moved to NYC to finish his fashion education at Parsons School of Design. After graduation Prabal spent two years at Cynthia Rowley and then became the Design Director for Bill Blass. Mr. Gurung held this post for five years before deciding to launch his eponymous label in February 2009.
The label mostly focused on ready to wear but Spring 2015 marked Prabal Gurung’s initial foray into footwear. Cubism is the inspiration for the footwear this season and it is used to create a heel collection that is definitely eye-pleasing.
