Swoon, Summer, and a Sale

Since I officially crossed Craftsy off my to do list, I have been sewing every spare minute I have. Naptime? Yep! Late nights? Absolutely. I had a hard time knowing which project to start with, so I asked Facebook and Instagram.

Everyone was so helpful! When it came down to it, finishing the Swoon out of Good Folks I started a while back was came back at the top of the list, so I started working on it again.

I couldn't stop.

I had four blocks finished, so I made five more and laid them all out. It needed more. Or maybe I just wanted to make more? I'm not really sure. :-) So I made 3 more blocks, sashed the whole thing, and am calling it done. Well, ready for the quilter. I'm not planning on quilting a 106" x 80" quilt on my little machine. I normally quilt all of my own "just for fun" quilts that aren't on a deadline, but the size of this one makes my shoulders sore just thinking about it!

So anyway, here it is. My Good Folks Swoon. Well, mostly Good Folks. There are a few other great Anna Maria Horner pieces mixed in as well. This was really a different project for me, using fabrics and colors that I hadn't really used before, and I enjoyed it so much! I will be sure to show you another photo after it is quilted and bound.

Next up? A Briar Rose On a Whim quilt.

Totally inspired by Angela's version on Instagram. Then I have a couple projects planned out of Vanessa's new fabric, Simply Style.

And something fun out of the new Lush Uptown line.

Maybe Surfside. Or Red Velvet? Which one?

What are you working on this summer? Tell me below and you can use code SUMMER30 to get all of the patterns in my shop, PDF and Paper for 30% off through the end of the week. Okay, so technically you don't have to tell me to get the discount, but I hope you will!

Happy Summer!
