Outtakes & Bloopers – Cecylia at the Park Hyatt Melbourne Series

Hello lovelies! I hope that you’ve enjoyed my recent posts at the Park Hyatt Melbourne. If you’re new to this blog and have no idea what I’m talking about, please head over here. I’m still on training wheels since becoming a mom, so instead of trying to travel with a teeny bub, having a weekend away is just as indulgent. Even though ’away’ is still within Melbourne, but it’s the Park Hyatt we’re talking about! I honestly felt like we were far far away from home, partly because of the grand surroundings (the staircase even bore resemblance to a certain character from Doctor Who!) and also because our suite was so clean it couldn’t possibly be our room…

During our stay, I learnt a few things:

1. There is nothing our backs love more than Duck down pillows. Plus you can practise your karate chops on them.

2. Portable cots are awesome! Winston enjoyed a better night’s rest in the one provided in our room than the one at home.

3. Not to panic if you left your iPhone charger at home, because Park Hyatt will happily lend/sell you one. Oh, and there’s free Wi-Fi!

I honestly didn’t think that we’d have this much fun from a one night stay, but our time at the Park Hyatt will remain to be a highlight of 2014. I wonder if our time away has given us a little more courage to travel further with Winston in the near future. Since hubby gifted me a “Cat” (translate: vintage Jaguar) for Valentine’s Day recently, maybe our next family adventure will be a road trip?

Meanwhile, I’m going to try and get as much rest this weekend as possible, in-between a bestie’s 30th/baby shower, Winston’s dedication and a friend’s wedding, before Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival starts next week. Wake me up before I go go go!

住在宾馆的这个周末，我学到了一些东西：

1 没有比鸭绒枕头更舒服的靠背。另外，你可以用它们练习空手道。

2 宾馆有婴儿床的设备！宝宝睡在宾馆里的婴儿床上比在家里睡得更香。

3 如果你将你的手机充电器留在家里，别警长，因为宾馆会很乐意地借给或卖你一个。哦，还有免费的Wi-Fi 网络！

我并没有想到我们住一晚会有那么多的乐趣，但在宾馆的周末已经成为今年的一个亮点。希望下一次我们带宝宝度假能去得远一点。丈夫最近在情人节给我们买了一辆车，也许我们下一次的家庭之旅会是开车旅行？

下个星期就是墨尔本的时装周，我希望能在这个周末尽量多休息一会儿，但不太可能因为我们有个生日会和朋友的婚礼要去参加。希望你过一个轻松的周末！
