Car Boot Sales & Vintage Markets: Saturday 5th October

Autumn is a good time of year for a clear out and I am pleased to report, for the next few weekends, there are some ace car boot sales and markets happening, including my FAVOURITE car boot of all time. This is the first instalment of my recommended thrifty hangouts so check back next week for some more!
So firstly, it's elusive, it's unreliable, it happens twice a year and if it dares to goddamn rains this Saturday I will cry into my thrifted pillowcases:

I don't want to hype this up too much or anything because, ya' know, we all have our off days but this is where I bought sealed Diptyque perfume for £2, vintage kimonos, Barbour jackets etc. It's been bloody amazing every time I've been and I'm actually getting butterflies and nerves just thinking getting there tomorrow, but then I do have an unhealthy obsession with junk so, whatever. Also, it's good for celeb spotting- David Walliams, Lara Stone, Jameela Jamil- they all love a good car boot too.
The North London Vintage Market is back!

The NLVM has started back up and you can find out all the details here. It's a treasure trove of beautiful tat, vintage clothing and furniture and run by two seasoned vintage sellers, so you know it will be quality. And there's cake.

On the 1st Saturday of every month there is the opportunity to rifle and rummage through the cast-offs of stylists, vintage enthusiasts, ASOS Marketplace sellers and more, all curated and convened by Plum of Plumdiddlyumcious.
So if you're at a loose end tomorrow, make sure you get to at least one of these for a strong, heady dose of thrift and say hello if you see me!
