Project Take 10: Free People

This month for Take 10, we've teamed with Free People, the US-based brand famous for its beautiful clothing and accessories.
We each got to choose a piece and I went with a classic denim jacket because I realised the last time I saw my old one was a couple of years back in the overhead locker on a plane back from L.A. Oops.
I love the jacket- it's proper denim, not cheap thin material and it's a great colour with just the right amount of fading. The sleeves are wide enough to be rolled up and it has a stiff enough collar to stay turned up- important features for someone who wears the majority of their coats this way! I often worry about US sizing coming up smaller so I chose the largest size- a US12 which is a UK14. Luckily this was pretty generous as I'm usually a 16.
Free People have some stunning things on their site- primarily this beautiful dress has me in a spin at the minute. A huge positive is the fact that even though their clothes are shipped from America, it's very fast and even better, they pay the customs charges, so no nasty surprises when the postman knocks on your door!
