Senna Cosmetics Midnight Wine Fall 2013 Collection Review and Swatches

I can't believe I haven't posted this collection! I could have swore I did but I guess it's because I have instagrammed it several times! Btw if you are not following me on IG do it now! My IG name is of course LipGlossGossip. :) I have been wearing/using this collection for about a month and it's beautiful!
I received three lip lacquers, two lipsticks, two eyeshadows, and one blush that are all from the Midnight Wine Fall 2013 collection.

The lip lacquers are Leather, Blush Wine, and Mulberry. Leather is a deep plum/brown. Blush Wine is a light shimmery copper pink. My favorite of the bunch is Mulberry a gorgeous plum! These are lacquers so they are a bit sticky but not annoying, this also makes them longer lasting though! I got about 5 hours of color wear with these, but the tackiness and shine faded sooner but I was still left with color on my lips.

I got two lipstick in Beautiful Bronze and Ruby. Beautiful Bronze is is a metallic shimmery bronze/copper pink. Ruby is a gorgeous creamy berry plum. Ruby is a great Fall lip color! It's not too dark and makes a beautiful bold lip! Beautiful Bronze is a great shade to apply in the center of the lips to give a little bit of dimension. Apply it over Ruby or any shade you have to make your lips really pop and look full and pouty!

I found both of these to be fairly long wearing. They will transfer with eating or drinking but don't completely fade away. I got about five hours of wear before minimal fading.
I got two eyeshadows in Cordovan and Coppertina. Cordovan is a shimmery chocolate brown. Coppertina is a shimmery copper with a bit more sparkly to it. I love these!! You know I love me some neutrals! These are neutral shadows that can be worn daily, to the office, or whatever it may be but they are not boring! They give your eyes a gorgeous glow. They blend easily. They look great worn together or on it's own as a wash on your lid or even better paired with other Senna eyeshadows. If you are a MUA these are great for bridal work as well! I love these colors and can't get enough of them!

How beautiful is this blush in Moonberry!! When I first saw this I was like there's no way I can wear this because of my lighter complexion and redness in my cheeks, but it's so pretty! It's a satin/matte finish. It's highly pigmented and looks gorgeous on darker complexions, but fairer skin tones can wear this as well! Use a large fluffy brush to deposit a shearer color. Apply a little at a time as to not overdue it but this does blend out easily. This is a great color to get that cold winter flushed cheeks look as well! I love it!
Now on to the swatches!

Overall this is a great Fall collection. Senna always puts out fabulous collections. The quality is always fantastic. I've been using this line far before I was blogging and it continues to be one of my favorite lines out there.
I highly recommend you check out the Midnight Wine collection!
