Tag: The TBR Tag (Part One)
I was trying to think of a post to do this weekend and then magically I get two tweets tagging me for tags! I’m only going to one today but expect another one coming soon. I was tagged by the lovely Ebony from Daring Damsels to do The TBR Tag. Basically, it’s a bunch of questions about how my TBR works. Be prepared for answers that make no sense because my TBR makes no sense haha! I feel like I’ve been saying sorry in every post but I really am! I want to make more posts for you guys. LOVE YOU ALL! ♥
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
I used to have a sticker system where I’d put little dot stickers onto all the books I haven’t read but now, I’m just too lazy because there are too many.
Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?
Before book blogging, I had way more books on my e-reader that I had to get through. Even though they’re still there, they’ve been pushed very far down my TBR. I’d say now, my immediate TBR is definitely mostly print. I love both though so it doesn’t make a difference.
How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?
Normally, I try to read books in order of their release date so that I can keep up with my reviews but I’ve come to the point where I honestly don’t care. I apologise to all the publishers but I promise that I will read and review them all one day!
A book that’s been on your TBR list the longest?
There are many many books that have been on my TBR for a very long time and according to Goodreads, the one that’s been on the the longest is… drumroll please… Hexhall by Rachel Hawkins! To this day, I actually do want to read it but let’s be honest, I’ll never get to it unless I manage to start reading 3 books a day.
A book you recently added to your TBR?
I don’t usually bother adding books to my TBR anymore but I saw this once and just clicked the button. I really love The Selection series (even though I hate it) so when I say The Heir, I had to add it to my TBR! The cover has yet to be revealed but I really can’t wait to get my hands on it.
A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
This one is a little hard to answer because honestly, most of the books I add to my TBR are only there because of their beautiful covers. This one caught my eye when I was looking through my TBR though.
