LOTD: Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette (including swatches & comparisons)

HI HI! This will be a review of the new Urban Decay naked basics 2 palette - which will be available soon at Sephora in Early Nov. There will be a series of UD events coming up at Sephora, so do check out their social media platforms for updates and information on exact launch dates of all the upcoming Urban Decay holiday pieces!
I have the first Naked Basics palette since its first release, and as you can see in the following pics - it is very well used. I love mixing the last two shades for my brows, and also to create a matte smokey eye. It is a neat palette, but the first 3 pale shades are very much the same on my skintone.
For naked bascis 2, you get a palette of 6 cooler toned almost grey-ish neutrals. Like the original Naked Basics, the shades are all creamy intense, very fine and very smooth. I love Undone - which is a deep brown grey, and also Cover - which is a great blending shade. Overall, this is a great palette to complete the Naked Basics palette. Do you need both? hmm yes. Because to me, they are not the same. They supplement the existing Naked palettes very well, because they become blending shades.. but on their own the Naked Basics palettes are versatile. You can wear it light for everyday, or go really smokey dramatic.

The naked basics palette come in a really compact size casing with a mirror, which makes it great for travelling.

In my LOTD,

I applied Skimp all over my eyelids, Cover to blend on the crease, Primal on my lids, and finally Undone on the outer corner to add some definition. The end result is quite a warm smokey grey eye look. I added another unusual pop of color to the eyelook by using a dsrk black/green liner pencil, and also wearing a bright oraangey color on my lip.
Here are some close up picures:

(side note, I swear my hand doesn't look this crepey old in real life! lol)
in the comparison you can see the texture of the eyeshadows, every shade is pigmente, and there isn't really any dupes across both palettes. a more comforting look at the swatches on 'better skin' haha. Here you can see the color placement. and completed look
(don't know why my blusher is coming out sooooo orangey crazy in these pics... I blame it on the warm colors of my background!)
