Review: Influenster Uni VoxBox (plus swatches)

Press Sample/Affiliate Links

Earlier this week, I was happy to find my Influenster Uni VoxBox had arrived! I received an invitation for this box quite awhile ago, so I’m excited to finally see what’s inside (it’s been some time since I’ve participated with anything through Influenster, too).

If you’re not already familiar, Influenster is a fun way to be rewarded for sharing your opinion- essentially, you sign up, connect all of your social network accounts, and Influenster contacts you when you qualify for certain campaigns. These VoxBoxes all have different themes depending on the campaigns, and once you receive yours, you can share your opinion via social media. The more active you are, the more likely you are to be contacted (and you don’t have to be a blogger!).

Anyway, I really wanted to share what I received in my Influenster Uni VoxBox because, quite frankly, I think it’s pretty awesome. Keep reading to see everything included- plus, I’d love to know what your box contained if you also got this one!

Let’s talk about the non-beauty products first:

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance tampons- I won’t get into these much because they’re tampons, girls (who like them) need them… we don’t really need an explanation. But I will say that getting a whole box FOR FREE in my VoxBox was like Christmas morning.

Pilot Acroball Pure White pen- This is a fine point retractable pen; again, not a ton to say about it. Always nice to have extra pens, am I right? Do they walk away after you use them? Because for some reason I seem to lose 90% of the pens I own.

Red Rose Real Tea Premium Water Enhancers: Blackcurrant Raspberry brewed tea- These are Mio-like flavor drops you can add into water, which I am obsessed with but rarely buy (they can be kind of pricey). This Blackcurrant Raspberry flavor by Red Rose tastes just like iced tea- I’m very much a fan.

Now onto the fun beauty things!

Rimmel Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation in Light Porcelain- I’m so glad I didn’t end up purchasing this! I was curious to try it, but hesitated when I heard it wasn’t the best on dry skin. As long as you make sure to prep skin with moisturizer prior to application, it’s really not so bad- it has medium-full coverage, a matte finish, and lasts a full work day on my skin. Sadly, the shade Light Porcelain is a bit TOO porcelain for me, but it can work if I dust some bronzer on my face.

NYC New York Color Expert Last lipstick in Forever Fuchsia- This is BRIGHT pink, my friends. If you want a full-on pigmented lipstick at a budget price, I’d say these NYC Expert Last lipsticks should fit the bill! I probably won’t wear this bold pink too often, but I was quite impressed by the formula.

Broadway Nails ImPRESS Press-On Manicure- A surprise favorite! I saw these press-on nails in the box and thought “not my cup of tea,” but once I got them on my nails I totally changed my mind. Each box comes with 24 nail covers (12 sizes), plus a nail prep pad and buffer. I was surprised by how easy these were to apply/remove! For the most natural-looking nails, I’d recommend trimming or filing these a bit once applied (I clipped them down to the length of my natural nails for the picture above).

That’s everything! Thoughts on this Uni VoxBox? Have you tried Influenster before? I’d love to know what you think- thanks so much for reading, like always!

Disclosure: I received these products complimentary from Influenster, for reviewing purposes only. All opinions in the post are 200% my own! I never recommend products that I wouldn’t buy myself.
