THINGS WE LOVE – Book Buddies

Being a “book buddy” to sheltered cats can help your kids with their reading! The Book Buddies program aims to both: improve reading skills and help the sheltered animals by allowing children to read to cats who are waiting to be adopted. While reading to them, the furry friends are happy to have company and feel comforted by the little humans’ voice. This is a great way for kids to interact with animals and the beginning of a long friendship!
