It still seems so surreal to me that I am having our second baby boy coming up any week now. One thing that I did with Braylen all the time when he was younger was ‘wear’ him. It allowed me so much freedom. Having a rough day of bad naps? Wear him and he goes right out! Teething and just wants to be held? Wear him and he’s all smiles. Need to go grocery shopping but don’t want to haul in the car seat? Wear him and get it all done fast!
I know that even though I thought I wore Bray a lot, that I will be wearing this new little guy even more. There are so many scenarios that run through my mind right now of what our near future looks like, and in almost every scene, I am wearing the new baby. Bray will still need my attention, not to mention helping hands, so to be able to wear this baby will be invaluable.
This baby will be born in summer. In AZ. That pretty much equals a sweaty mess of temps, and no one enjoys it! Not only are there four front and back carrying positions, and the waist belt and padded shoulder straps provide ergonomic support to relieve pressure on parents’ backs, and it’s suitable for children aged 0-3 years…but heres the real kicker for me- the material. This mesh material is so incredibly breathable and lightweight it is perfection for an AZ summer. I feel like I will actually be able to walk around with him in this and not have us both just be drenched in sweat!
To test drive the carrier I plopped Bray down in it, and yes, he freaking loved it. AND the fact that he is a massive {seriously, he is OFF the charts in both height and weight} two year old, yet still fit so comfortably in it was awesome! And keep in mind, I wore him on my back when I was 35 weeks pregnant..comfortably. It was like a miracle was taking place!
yes, he is pretending to sleep here..but it was his idea because he was ‘so comfy’ as he said- haha
I really think y’all will love this carrier, whether you are pregnant with your first baby, or your youngest is two- it works for everyone…even people with giant babies and pregnant bellies;)
