You may notice some changes around here - mainly, a new name. I've rebranded this blog and clothing to my own name for a number of reasons. There have been a lot of changes since I started Blooming Leopold, so much so that the name just doesn't fit anymore (the name came from a short but intense obsession I had with James Joyce after an Irish Lit class in college, which has sadly waned since then). If you follow me on
Twitter,
Instagram, or
Pinterest, you may notice those handles have changed too. New year, new name.
Thanks to Drew Tyndell for the new logo design! And - new collection! When my limited-run pieces for
Porter Flea sold out last December, I had to start fresh on some new styles for the online shop. I'm excited to finally debut them here. This season is a mix of late winter, early spring pieces that are meant to transition easily between all seasons - silk shift dresses that go great with tights and boots in the winter and bare legs and sandals in the spring, light tops and cardigans in silks and boiled wool for easy layering, a jumpsuit in breathable bamboo rayon for year-round wear.
All pieces will be available to purchase in the
shop this weekend.
Thanks to the lovely
Jessica Duthu (she's an amazing illustrator - check out her work
here) for being my model for the day! Necklaces by
Young Frankk,
Gamma Folk, and
Laura Lombardi.
