Persol Sunglasses

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend the Yorkshire Blogger Meet arranged by the lovely Siobhan and held at Meadowhall. It was a fantastic day which was made even more fantastic by winning these amazing Persol sunglasses. They were donated for the event by online sunglass shop Shadestation.

I’d never heard of Persol before but now I’m a massive fan. Best thing about these shades is that they fold up and provide SPF protection for the eyes. They came in a cute leather pouch too. Persol is an old brand founded in 1917. They originally sold sunglasses for pilots and aviators and now they create them for sports people. So you know the quality is going to be to a high standard and I haven’t been disappointed. Every pair also comes with a one year guarantee for that added level of protection.

I’ve been wearing them a fair bit since I received them and they are not only stylish but they also protect my eyes perfectly. I find that with some of the cheaper sunglasses I find myself squinting if the sun is particularly bright. Aren’t they amazing?
